On June 30, 2023 China (Liaocheng) first cross-border e-commerce Ecological Innovation Summit was successfully held in Liaocheng Alcadia Hotel. More than 200 people, including cross-border industry elites from all over the country and representatives of foreign trade enterprises in Liaocheng, gathered at the scene to discuss the innovation and development of cross-border e-commerce.
With the theme of "Decoding Liaocheng's intelligent manufacturing · Linking the global market", the conference aims to further promote the development of cross-border e-commerce industry in Liaocheng, accelerate the pace of construction of Liaocheng Comprehensive pilot Zone, and promote cooperation and exchanges between domestic and foreign e-commerce enterprises.
At the meeting, Wang Lingfeng, deputy director of Liaocheng Bureau of Commerce, delivered a speech. In his speech, Deputy Director Wang Lingfeng first analyzed the foreign trade environment facing Liaocheng, believing that the current foreign trade situation is very severe, and the external environment is more complicated, but enterprises should still be full of confidence, confidence from three aspects, one is the confidence of market players, the second is the confidence of national policies, and the third is the confidence of the development mode. Then Deputy Director Wang Lingfeng summarized the current situation of the development of cross-border e-commerce in Liaocheng, believing that the number of enterprises engaged in cross-border e-commerce in Liaocheng has grown rapidly, the import and export volume of cross-border e-commerce has grown rapidly, and Liaocheng has successfully been approved as a comprehensive pilot zone for cross-border e-commerce, providing an important platform for the continued high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce in the next step. A pattern of opening up featuring inter-linkages between land and sea and mutual assistance between the east and the west is gradually taking shape. Finally, Deputy Director Wang Lingfeng hoped that the participating enterprises and departments would study hard, attach great importance to the driving role of cross-border e-commerce, actively communicate and interact, transform the intellectual achievements of experts into new driving forces for development, constantly innovate foreign trade ideas, and contribute to the high-quality development of foreign trade import and export in the city.
Two experts from the e-commerce Institute of the Ministry of Commerce associate researcher, master director Li Yi, and the Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce associate researcher Pang Chaoran conducted a policy interpretation of "China's cross-border e-commerce development practice and policy analysis" and "global cross-border e-commerce development opportunities and situations."
Subsequently, representatives of Amazon, Dajian Yuncang, overseas Pinduoduo and other enterprises respectively gave keynote speeches on cross-border e-commerce opportunities and platform introduction, sharing the successful experience and insights of the linked cross-border industry for the participants.
The conference site also held a service ecology signing ceremony, the event organizer Shandong Limaotong Supply chain Management Service Co., Ltd. and six cross-border e-commerce service providers signed on-site.
The summit was held only to better help entrepreneurs seize business opportunities, seize the window, and play a positive role in further promoting the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce.
