Mr. Hou hoped that Mr. Carter and his delegation would further understand Liaocheng through this visit, expand the cooperation space between the two places in foreign trade and other aspects, and promote the cooperation between Cameroon and Liaocheng to a new level. Mr. Carter said that Africa and China have always maintained friendly relations and the Chinese government has always provided strong support to Africa. More and more Chinese enterprises are investing in Africa, which has boosted the African economy. The relations between Cameroon and China have been developing steadily since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1971, with sincere and friendly cooperation in various fields. China has built major projects in Cameroon, such as schools, hospitals, hydropower stations, ports, railways and housing, which have played an important role in improving the quality of life of the Cameroonian people and the national economic level.
