Djibouti Exhibition Center appeared at the cross-border e-commerce Ecological Conference
From September 27 to 29, “Selected products Shandong ETong Global” 2024 China (Shandong) Cross-border E-commerce Fair was held in Yantai Bajiao Bay International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition covers a total exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, with cross-border ecological pavilions, cross-border selection pavilions, characteristic industrial belt pavilions and cross-border new business pavilions, more than 200 world-renowned cross-border e-commerce platforms and service enterprises, and more than 500 high-quality supply enterprises to participate in the event. Among them, the “Liaocheng Made” (Djibouti) cross-border e-commerce exhibition and sales Center, as the first “cross-border e-commerce + pre-exhibition and post-warehouse” project of China Merchants Group and the local government, debuted at this conference.
During the exhibition, the 2024 Shandong Cross-border E-commerce Ecological Conference was successfully held, and the theme of this conference was “digital enabling production chain upgrade”, aiming to improve the cross-border e-commerce ecology and help Shandong manufacturing industry “brand to go to sea”. Among them, the Quota and License Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, the Provincial Department of Commerce, and the responsible comrades of Yantai City Government attended the meeting and delivered speeches. At the meeting, the ceremony of “Launching of high-quality development Action of Shandong Cross-border e-commerce Enabling Industrial Belt and establishment of Shandong cross-border e-commerce Industrial Belt Workstation” was held, and 80 cross-border e-commerce industrial belt workstations were officially established. The Shandong Branch of the People’s Bank of China, China Construction Bank and Shandong Port Group have respectively issued policies and measures to support the development of cross-border e-commerce. Amazon Global Store, Haizhi Online, etc., shared the platform to promote cross-border e-commerce to empower the development of Shandong characteristics industry experience measures; The China International E-commerce Center of the Ministry of Commerce and Lege Shares made theme sharing on the new value and new opportunities of cross-border e-commerce and the road of high-quality international development of private enterprises.
“Liaocheng Made” (Djibouti) cross-border e-commerce Exhibition Center, as the highlight of this cross-trade fair, was awarded the title of “2024 cross-border e-commerce Quality brand”, and was praised by the leaders, industry experts, cross-border platforms and sellers. During the event, Chen Fei, Director of the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, Zheng Deyan, Deputy secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Yantai, and other relevant leaders visited the exhibition site to understand the functional positioning, construction and operation of the exhibition center in detail, and expressed their high recognition and affirmation. During the exhibition, delegations from municipal commerce departments, cross-associations, cross-border e-commerce platforms, logistics, warehousing, finance, payment, credit insurance, intellectual property rights, operations, training, independent stations, search optimization, technical support and other cross-border e-commerce full-link service enterprises as well as more than 1,000 production enterprises, cross-border e-commerce sellers went to the exhibition center exhibition hall on-site inspection and exchange.
During the exhibition, Shandong Cross-border E-commerce Association issued the “Cross-border E-commerce incubation Base construction and management operation norms” group standards, and held the expert appointment ceremony of the group standard Expert Committee. Among them, Hou Min, general manager of Shandong Limaotong Supply Chain Management Service Co., LTD., the operation unit of the exhibition center, was appointed as an “expert of Shandong Province Cross-border E-commerce group Standards Expert Committee”. The standard specifies the construction requirements, service requirements, management requirements and service quality management of cross-border e-commerce incubation base services, which is suitable for the construction and management of cross-border e-commerce incubation base and can play a positive normative and guiding role in the construction, management and application of cross-border e-commerce incubation base in our province.
In recent years, our city has actively promoted the development of the “cross-border e-commerce + industrial belt” model, combined with the industrial endowments and location advantages of various counties and urban areas, released the aggregation effect of 1+1>2, and promoted the branding transformation of traditional industry and trade and the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce. “Liaocheng Made” (Djibouti) cross-border e-commerce exhibition and sales center will also rely on Djibouti’s unique geographical location, huge potential African market, superior policy support, professional services of operating companies and Djimart cross-border e-commerce platform, integrating online and offline matching, overseas warehouse exhibition and sales integration and other new trends.
