Recently, Liaocheng Economic and Technological Development Zone held a press conference to introduce the all-round development efforts of the steel pipe industry in the area. In recent years, Liaocheng Development Zone has converted old and new kinetic energy into a starting point, actively implemented scientific and technological innovation, element concentration and digital transformation, and promoted the steel pipe industry to achieve a gorgeous transformation from less to more, from large to strong, and from strong to specialized. At present, Liaocheng Development Zone has become one of the largest steel pipe production bases in the country and one of the largest steel pipe distribution centers.
In 2022, the annual output of steel pipes in Liaocheng Development Zone will be about 4.2 million tons, with an output value of about 26 billion yuan. With the support of industrial development, there are 56 steel pipe production enterprises above designated size, with an output of about 3.1 million tons and an output value of about 16.2 billion yuan in 2022, an increase of 10.62%. Operating revenue reached 15.455 billion yuan, up 5.48% year-on-year.
In order to promote the development of steel pipe enterprises, the development zone will increase its support for technological transformation projects, strengthen publicity and communication with enterprises, and encourage enterprises to actively implement technological transformation. The development zone has also actively built a technology transformation supply and demand docking platform to solve the problems of enterprises in technological transformation, and has established a technical transformation project library. In 2022, the investment in industrial technological transformation of the development zone will reach 1.56 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 38%.
Liaocheng Development Zone has also achieved remarkable results in promoting the digital transformation of enterprises. Recently, the Development Zone organized more than 100 enterprises to participate in the SME digital transformation consultation. It is planned to carry out six special activities for the supply and demand docking of digital transformation between “chain master” enterprises and “specialized and specialized new” enterprises in 2023, and promote the digital transformation of about 50 “specialized and specialized and specialized new” enterprises. By holding special events and lecture halls, the Development Zone actively promotes the development of the digital economy and helps the digital transformation and upgrading of enterprises in the development zone.
To support digital transformation, the development zone has accelerated the construction of information infrastructure such as 5G network and industrial Internet, and encouraged enterprises to upgrade their internal and external networks. In addition, Liaocheng Development Zone also approved 5G base station facilities in the whole region in a green ultra-simple mode, and actively promoted the construction of 5G communication network coverage projects. Some enterprises, such as Zhongzheng Steel Pipe, have invested a lot of money to complete a customized digital management system and improve production efficiency through system integration and data analysis. Enterprises such as Lusheng Seiko have achieved energy saving, cost reduction and efficiency increase through information-based integrated automated production lines. These efforts save business costs and promote sustainable development.
The efforts of the development zone have made Liaocheng’s steel pipe industry well-known in the country, and promoted the transformation and upgrading of the industry. The development zone will continue to take innovation as the driving force to boost the high-quality development of Liaocheng’s economy.
